How long does it take for my order to ship once it is placed?

Most items are in stock and ready to ship the same day as long as the order is placed before 12:00 PM PST, Monday – Friday. We are not open on the weekends, orders placed after 12 PM PST on Friday will be processed on Monday, excluding all national holidays. Typical shipping is 2-7 business days via ground shipping. Please keep in mind “ground shipping” is not a guaranteed service. Any delay at the border or with customs can add to this.

How will my order ship?

Canadian orders ship out of our Anaheim, CA warehouse using UPS Ground Shipping. However, you have the option to upgrade shipping methods during the checkout process. Typically, it will be about $50 extra for the cost of shipping.

As soon as an order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to your tracking number. Keep in mind, we are NOT responsible for any taxes and duties that may be due on your order. This is charged by the Canadian government based on the value of your order.

PO Boxes

UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes, we need a physical address for orders.

Tariffs & Taxes

We are not responsible for tariffs or any taxes that may apply to your order. Tariffs are essentially taxes by the Canadian government on importing these items from a different country. We list your items at full retail value, there may be additional tariffs and/or taxes due to Canadian customs.

Warranty & Returns

Our Power Watchdog surge protectors all have a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Other accessories (locks, rain covers, plugs, sockets, etc) typically have a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. You may return the item to us within 30 days upon purchase for a full refund MINUS the initial shipping fees.  We are not responsible for the return shipping fees of an unwanted item. Please be sure to order the correct item initially. If the item shipped was an error on our side, we will cover the shipping fees.

Why do I need an Autoformer?

Hughes Autoformers are designed to increase voltage to your RV and help eliminate low voltage damage to your appliances. Unlike a boost transformer, the 'sense circuit' in the Autoformer will adjust the output based on the load demand. For this reason you can run additional appliances on a 30-amp input. For example, a coffee pot and microwave each draw 1200 watts. Add wattage for the converter and/or a refrigerator - about 800 additional watts – and now you have 3200 watt demand.
